Baltimore, MD – Feb. 12, 2023 – Maryland Attorney General’s Office is investigating a deadly incident in Baltimore where a stolen car driven by a previously convicted gun offender crashed into a building causing it to collapse, killing a bystander, according to WMAR2News. The police officers involved in the chase are being investigated to ensure they followed state laws and departmental procedures. The driver of the stolen car has been charged with auto theft and the passenger was treated at a hospital and released. The footage from a body-worn camera worn by one of the officers involved could be released in the next two weeks.
