Four Baltimore Police officers are off the job, according to the Baltimore Police Fraternal Order of Police.

In a letter posted to social media, the FOP detailed the officers are leaving to join the police force in Anne Arundel County for “better working conditions and pay.”

The Union then demanded better pay, working conditions and a retention policy that, “incentivizes longevity, including pay bonuses.”

FOP President Mike Mancuso wrote in part:

The citizens of Baltimore need to know that we do not have enough police officers, currently, to keep them safe and we are losing more weekly.
