Israeli President Isaac Herzog commented on the terror attack in Tel Aviv, during his address Tuesday evening at the 70th anniversary of the Hatzor HaGlilit regional council.

“The serious car-ramming attack which happened a few hours ago in Tel Aviv, is further evidence of the important need for the current IDF operation in Jenin to eradicate terrorism,” Herzog said.

“Terror will never win. Not against the State of Israel, and not against the steadfast Israeli spirit, on the frontline and the home front.

“On behalf of the entire nation, I pray for the speedy and full recovery of those wounded, and I send my strength and support to our soldiers, their commanders, and all the security and intelligence services in their decisive actions against our enemies wherever they are found.”
