Baltimore, MD – Aug. 9, 2023 – The Owings Mills Metro SubwayLink Station has closed due to mechanical issues, with the Maryland Transit Administration terminating service to the station. A bus bridge has been set up to accommodate passengers between Owings Mills and Old Court stations, and passengers are also encouraged to use Baltimore Link buses 87 and 89. This is the station’s second closure, following an electrical fire in July that shut down the entire SubwayLink line.
