Baltimore, MD – Oct. 11, 2023  – A bomb threat at Baltimore/Washington International Airport on Wednesday led to a police investigation, as per a CNN report. A person parked outside the terminal claimed to have a bomb in their vehicle, leading to their arrest and the involvement of a bomb squad. The incident caused road closures, stranded travelers, and halted security checkpoints. The airport stopped vehicle traffic to the terminal, and travelers inside were advised to stay put. Light Rail service was suspended at the airport, and Interstate 95 at Aviation Boulevard was closed. Further details are pending.
