The time of lighting the Shabbos candles is considered to be an auspicious and special time for private prayer. We invite every Jewish woman to add this Teffilah after she lights her candles requesting Hashem’s compassion and protection for the IDF soldiers, our captives, and the entire Jewish people.
In Hebrew, àÊç, means weapon. But for us, àÊôç, is an acronym for, àèÃâĸÃÂĒ ÊÃâÃÂĒ çÃâĸÃâÊ, the holy candles of Shabbos. Shabbos, candle lighting, and our prayers, are our secret weapons.
