Baltimore County Public Schools will be closed on Monday, Jan. 3. Officials made the call Sunday night, citing “expected severe weather conditions.”

Baltimore County is under a winter weather advisory from 1 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday. The National Weather Service is calling for 3 to 5 inches of snow, with the potential for roads and walkways to be slippery.

North Baltimore County should anticipate 1 to 3 inches, while southern Baltimore County could get 3 to 5 inches of snow possible, according to the Baltimore County Emergency Management officials.
