Baltimore, MD- Jan. 10, 2022 – At tonight’s Council meeting Baltimore City Councilman Yitzy Schleifer called for an immediate hearing with the Department of Public Works. The hearing is scheduled for this Thursday at 3:00pm, to discuss the missed recycling collections occurring somewhat regularly over the last 6 months and recently more frequently.
We are calling on DPW to come forward with a detailed plan to resolve this issue both long and short term. Curbside collection is the most basic city service there is and all taxpayers are entitled to and should expect to be completed every week.
