<p>Shocking numbers from the state board of education find salaries for the best-educated teachers in Baltimore have been falling for the last decade, and are now the lowest in the state.&nbsp;</p> <p><a href="https://www.baltimoresun.com/education/bs-md-city-teacher-salaries-lowest-in-state-20221214-fc3bedmy6vgvviux56jruqg5pi-story.html" _mce_href="https://www.baltimoresun.com/education/bs-md-city-teacher-salaries-lowest-in-state-20221214-fc3bedmy6vgvviux56jruqg5pi-story.html">The Baltimore Sun</a>&nbsp;reports that salaries for teachers with&nbsp;master's&nbsp;degrees in Baltimore, which averaged more than $72,000 in&nbsp;2010,&nbsp;are down now to just over&nbsp;$64,000.&nbsp;By comparison,&nbsp;a teacher with a&nbsp;master's&nbsp;degree in Montgomery County makes more than $108,000.</p> <p>Since 2010, the salaries for teachers in every single public school district&nbsp;except&nbsp;Baltimore have gone&nbsp;up,&nbsp;not down.</p>
