<p class="speakable">Tens of thousands of New England and New York residents were without power Saturday morning after the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/weather/winter-storm" _mce_href="https://www.foxnews.com/category/weather/winter-storm" target="_blank">region was hit with the first significant snowfall</a>&nbsp;of the season, bringing heavy, wet snow. Some roads were also closed due to the storm's impact.</p>
