Baltimore, MD – Dec. 22, 2022 – The local weather forecast calls for it to be 8 degrees, this Leil Shabbos, and 10 degrees below freezing the entire Shabbos day.  
Suggestions are that in order to avoid frozen pipes, go to the lowest faucet in the house and turn on the cold water tap and let it flow very, very slowly the entire Shabbos.
If you plan on being away, be sure to keep the temperature in the house to a minimum of 55 degrees.
Also, highly recommend is removing hoses from hose bibs/spigots outside and shutting off internal shutoffs to the outside hose bibs if accessible.
