Snow fell on Mount Hermon in the Golan Heights Sunday night and Monday morning, marking the first snow of the season.

Five centimeters of snowfall were recorded at the peak of the mountain, with snow expected to continue falling through the early afternoon.

Rainstorms were reported throughout much of the country Monday morning, with a flood warning in place for both the coastal plain and southern Israel.
