The Justice Department conducted a search of former Vice President Mike Pence's Indiana home after his attorney notified the National Archives that they had discovered about a dozen documents with classified markings there, reports The Hill. The search lasted five hours and produced one additional document with classified markings and six pages without such markings. The terms of the search were the same as those applied to the search of President Biden's home in Delaware and his office in Washington D.C. The documents were discovered after sensitive government materials were found at Biden's homes and office. Pence has stated that he did not take any classified material with him when leaving office and has vowed to cooperate with federal officials on the matter. He is considering a potential presidential bid in 2024.
