Baltimore, MD – Mar. 11, 2023 – The Baltimore County Police Department is offering free steering wheel locks to Hyundai and Kia owners living in the county to help prevent auto thefts. To receive the lock, owners must email a copy of their vehicle registration to wheellockprogram@baltimorecountymd.gov . The program is in response to a recent increase in auto thefts targeting Hyundai and Kia vehicles without push-button ignitions. Supplies are limited.
