A man was arrested this morning (Sunday) on suspicion of tearing down dozens of mezuzahs in Jerusalem on the night Israel’s Independence Day last week.
The mezuzahs were torn off the doorposts of residential buildings in the center of the city. Police launched an investigation, and quickly identified a suspect.
An arrest warrant was issued, and today, the suspect was arrested and taken for questioning.
