The state central committee that includes Councilman Yitzy Schleifer, Alex Friedman and Sandy Rosenbluth will pick his replacement.

Dear Friends of the 41st District,
Thank you for allowing me to represent you in the Maryland House of Delegates as a part of the 445th session of the General Assembly. I have been honored to hold office the last 5 years and work in partnership with you for the things needed in the district. I want to share some exciting news today. While I have thoroughly enjoyed serving the district, I have decided to make the very tough decision to step away from my position with the Maryland House of Delegates and take on a role that will allow me to serve the state of Maryland on a larger scale as the Assistant Secretary for the Maryland Department of Transportation. I am going to miss working with the my colleagues at the Maryland General Assembly but I’ll miss being able to work with each of you most of all. I resign officially on May 15th and will begin in my new role later in the week. I have no doubt that the central committee will make the right decision and submit a candidate to the Governor that will continue to work for the best interest of the district. While I may no longer be the representative of the 41st, I am still a resident and committed community member who will always fight for the best interest of the community.
