The current average price is $3.45 per gallon, which is 6.3 cents higher than the previous month, but 79.9 cents lower than the same period last year. The national diesel average fell by 5.3 cents in the last week, now standing at $4.07 per gallon. Gas station prices in Baltimore varied by 70 cents per gallon, from $3.09 to $3.79, while the state's prices ranged from $3.09 to $3.99 per gallon.
