Protesters gathered on Jerusalem Boulevard in Tel Aviv to oppose the government’s decision not to run the city’s new light rail train on Shabbos, according to Arutz-7. The light rail commenced its first journey from Ehrlich Station to Allenby Station on Wednesday. Before boarding the train, Transportation Minister Miri Regev commented on ensuring everything is in order for its official operation. The train in Tel Aviv is anticipated to be fully operational on August 18.
