Baltimore, MD – Aug. 20, 2023 –  Nearly every day, we hear about bicycle thefts. The issue is that we often see bicycles left unlocked on front lawns overnight. Even when these bikes are locked, they remain in plain view!

In the United States, an average of 188,500 bikes are stolen each year. Astonishingly, 54% of these thefts occur on or near the owner’s property.

Remember, property crimes are primarily crimes of opportunity. Don’t offer criminals the chance! Lock it or lose it!
