Several kosher restaurants in the Pico-Robertson area of Los Angeles were burglarized, with establishments such as Nagila Pizza, Fisherman’s Bowl, Shanghai Diamond Garden, SushiKo, and Shalom Grill being targeted, according to JPost. The incidents were highlighted on social media by an X (previously Twitter) user named Siamak Kordestani, an American-Iranian Jewish refugee. He noted the community would likely provide more updates after Shabbat. The perpetrators broke the restaurant windows and stole cash registers. The LAPD is currently uncertain whether these incidents were motivated by antisemitism.
