Baltimore, MD – Aug. 21, 2023 – As a community connector, we strive to meet our neighbors where they are, and for so many, that means having access to library resources seven days a week. We are proud to share that we are reopening at seven branches on Sundays beginning September 10. This service will run the Sunday after Labor Day through the Sunday before Memorial Day weekendâMay 19, 2024.
Locations and Hours
The following branches will be open to the public on Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.
How We Decided the Branches
The seven branches listed above were selected by which locations saw the most use on Sundays pre-pandemic. They also offer ample space, parking and resources so we can serve the needs of the community. Because we value equal access, you will notice that the seven branches are spread out geographically throughout the County.
Services Offered
Sunday service hours focus on providing core services to our customers, including:
- Access to physical collections
- Computers
- Meeting rooms
- Printing, copying and faxing
- Study rooms
Some services will not be available, including:
- My Librarian appointments
- Notary services
- Passport appointments
- Programs
- Social worker appointments
