Baltimore, MD – Sept. 10, 2023  – A Baltimore Police officer sustained arm injuries on Shabbos morning while apprehending a suspect, initially believed to be connected to a carjacking and abduction case, according to CBS News. The officers responded to a report at the 3600 block of Fords Lane at around 9:30 a.m. and engaged in a foot chase with an individual matching the suspect’s description. The officer was later hospitalized. Authorities discovered that the incident was not an abduction but stemmed from a domestic child custody dispute that had escalated into a domestic assault.
