Baltimore, Maryland and Washington, D.C. are at the top of the list of worst cities to drive in, according to a WalletHub study.

On Tuesday, the personal-finance website WalletHub released its report on 2023’s Best & Worst Cities to Drive in.

In order to determine the most driver-friendly places in the U.S., WalletHub compared the 100 largest cities across 30 key metrics.

The data ranges from average gas prices to annual hours in traffic congestion per auto commuter to auto-repair shops per capita.

The best cities for driving include Corpus Christi, TX, Raleigh, NC, Boise, ID, Plano, TX and Scottsdale, AZ.

The worst cities for driving include Oakland, CA, San Francisco, CA, Detroit, MI, Washington, DC, Los Angeles, CA.

Baltimore, Maryland ranked 89 on the list.

Henderson, Nevada, has the lowest traffic fatality rate, according to the study.
