Baltimore, MD – Oct. 22, 2023  – (FOX45) As election season approaches in Baltimore, public safety is a top concern for voters. Nearly half of voters believe that crime has worsened in their neighborhoods over the past year, leading to a demand for change, according to FOX45. Mayor Brandon Scott faces a 56% disapproval rating in the latest Goucher poll, with only 27% indicating they would vote for his reelection. Former mayor Sheila Dixon garners 39% support. State legislator Delegate Sandy Rosenburg has switched his endorsement from Scott to Dixon, citing concerns about crime rates. The city council president race is also competitive, with 17% supporting Nick Mosby, 30% backing Zeke Cohen, and 34% preferring “some other candidate,” possibly Shannon Sneed. Voters are clearly seeking change in various positions.
