Tzevet Hatzalah Headquarters, Yerushalayim – Nov. 1, 2023  – Rabbi Shmuel Silber, the Rav of Suburban Orthodox Congregation and Rabbinic advisor to B.I.R.I (the Baltimore Israel Relief Initiative), was seen visiting Tzevet Hatzalah headquarters in Israel today. Spearheaded by B.I.R.I, the Baltimore community came together to send thousands of critically needed medical supplies to Tzevet Hatzalah. In one of the photos below, Rabbi Silber is seen meeting with Tzevet’s dedicated volunteers as they give him a tour of the headquarters. Both Tzevet and B.I.R.I express their gratitude to the Baltimore community for stepping up to the plate in this time of need.
