Baltimore, MD – May 18, 2023 – Tefillas Hashlah is a Tefillas Avos Al Bonim, written by Rabbi Isaiah Horowitz – The Shelah HaKadosh. It is recited by many daily, but has a particular significance to be recited the day before Rosh Chodesh Sivan. When Rosh Chodesh Sivan falls out on Sunday, as it does this year, we recite the tefilla the Thursday before.
It is a special and beautiful prayer for children, who will grow up to be G-D fearing and righteous.
