Washington, D.C. – May 8, 2024 – US Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) grilled US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin Joint Chiefs of Staff Chair Charles Q. Brown Jr. on the Biden Administration’s freezing of an arms shipment to Israel, demanding to know if they would have dropped the two atomic bombs on Japan in order to end World War Two.

“Would you have supported dropping the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki? General Brown, to end World War Two?” Senator Graham asked. “Do you think that was disproportionate?”
